FDD@home - a virtual success
It was Founders’ Day Dinner, but not as we knew it. Saturday 30 May saw the OWCA make history once again by taking our longest and most cherished tradition and turning it virtual.
Founders’ Day Dinner in 2020 was literally a virtual success
All the regular elements were present at #FDD2020athome – the Principal’s address, the OWCA Co-Presidents’ update, the school singing as well as good food and wine from our OW partners at Peter Rowland and Tellurian Wines.
A particular highlight was our OW virtual choir, with a number of prominent OWs leading a wonderfully engaging rendition of ‘The best school of all’ as the rest of the audience joined in at home. Thank you to all OWs who joined us online to mark this momentous occasion – even though we weren’t in the same room, we have never been closer. See you next year back at Myer Mural Hall on Saturday 8 May for #FDD2021.
